Jarrolds Norwich True Crime Evening

Join us for an enthralling evening with historian and former police officer Blessin Adams as she delves into the dark and gripping history of female murderers in early modern Britain. Thou Savage Woman uncovers the shocking true crime stories that captivated the public during the Tudor and Stuart eras—tales of traitorous wives, vengeful poisoners, and women who defied the rigid expectations of their gender through acts of unspeakable violence.

Through meticulous research and vivid storytelling, Adams explores how these crimes fascinated and terrified society, questioning why female killers have long been the subject of both horror and obsession. This thought-provoking talk offers a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of history, crime, and gender with one of the most compelling voices in historical true crime.

Ticket: £10 – includes entry to the event and a complimentary drink on arrival.
